The founding idea of the project is quite simple. Pick a lady from the Renaissance, pick Catherine of Medicis for instance. You all know that she was this powerful, badass queen. A rather power-hungry one. But was she ? It turns out that Catherine of Medicis was tired of playing the queen and one day she decided to take a few days off and to run away… on her bicycle to race the Tour de France. Did we tell you that she was more a queen than an actual professional cyclist ? It may explain why, after she fell off her bike quite masterfully, the Medicis decided to go back to queening, a much less dangerous job.
