Future predictions announce that by 2030, the world will have turned into an Orwellian surveillance state. With the evolution of social media or facial recognition, this hypothesis seems quite likely. In a society where the line between public and private life is blurred, I wanted to create a footwear collection centered around a return to anonymity. All three lines explore modern camouflage, with partly covered or hidden shoes. I chose classic archetypes such as pumps or boots, but transformed them to partly hide them or make them blend in. Due to my background in womenswear, I wanted to include a line made mainly of fabric. I therefore decided to dedicate one line to shoes camouflaged with pants, as if the footwear was a continuity of clothes worn by an individual.
